Charitable Bequest

A charitable bequest is the easiest way to provide the ‘ultimate gift’ to Coronado Foundation for the Future. By making a provision in your will to leave a financial gift or gift of property or goods, you can perpetuate your life interest and influence for future generations. A bequest can also be made by simply adding a codicil to an existing will.

Gifts of Life Insurance

You can make Coronado Foundation for the Future the owner/beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy and your estate will receive an estate tax deduction for the gift. If you make Coronado Foundation for the Future the owner and beneficiary of your insurance policy, you reduce your eventual estate and estate taxes.

Gifts of Retirement Plans

You can designate Coronado Foundation for the Future as a beneficiary of an IRA, 401(k), 403(b) or other pension or retirement plan. By naming Coronado Foundation for the Future, you ensure that your estate receives an estate tax charitable deduction. You can designate a specific amount, or a percentage of the death benefit and you can restrict your gift to a specific purpose or make an unrestricted gift to the Foundation.

Please consult with your financial advisor on the planned giving option that best suits your financial situation.

Matching Gifts

Each year corporations match gifts to charitable organizations through employee matching gifts programs. Contact your company’s human resource department to see if a matching gift program exists. Retirees and spouses of employees are often eligible for these programs as well.
